Reliable Solar Power for Agribusiness and Farming
Diesel and petrol pumps eat up over 40% of smallholder farming profits in Kenya. Switching to solar irrigation and farm equipment provides zero-fuel water pumping, reliable feed processing, and uninterrupted poultry incubation.
Agribusiness Solar Applications
- Solar Water Pumping & Drip Irrigation: Direct DC and AC solar pumps delivering high flow rates for tomatoes, capsicum, avocados, and maize without expensive fuel bills.
- Livestock & Dairy Farming: Continuous water supply for cattle troughs, automatic solar-powered milking machines, and milk chilling.
- Feed Processing & Chaff Cutting: Heavy-duty single-phase and three-phase motor drives for chaff cutters, feed crushers, and hammer mills.
- Egg Incubation: AC/DC automatic incubators with automatic egg turning and dual 12V battery backup to prevent hatch loss during power cuts.
System Sizing & Consultation
Every farm has unique requirements based on water table depth, acreage, and daily water volume. Our agricultural engineers calculate dynamic head, daily yield, and pipe friction losses to configure the optimal solar pump and panel array.
